AC Cleaning
I had an amazing experience with Cleaning Lab NYC. They cleaned all 4 of my AC units and did an outstanding job. Everything looks spotless and you can tell they were very thorough with their work. The team was professional, efficient, and clearly knows what they’re doing. The difference before and after is huge — the units look refreshed and well-maintained. Shoutout to Max as well — really appreciate the effort and attention to detail. Highly recommend them if you want quality service done right. Will definitely be using them again.

AC Cleaning
We had a 3 man crew come out, sent by Julia, to clean our ductless HVAC system, and they were excellent from start to finish. They thoroughly power washed both the outdoor and indoor units, taking their time to do it right and leaving everything noticeably cleaner. The difference was immediate. You can actually feel the improved airflow and freshness. With the summer heat around the corner, this could not have come at a better time. Professional, efficient, and respectful of the space. Really grateful for their service and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to get their system ready for the season.

AC Cleaning
Honestly didn’t realize how disgusting my mini-split was until they showed me the before photos. Three years of built-up mold and dust - all cleaned out in about 90 minutes. The tech was professional, explained everything, and didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need. AC is blowing noticeably stronger now and the smell is completely gone. Will book again before next summer for sure.

AC Cleaning
Skeptical at first — seemed like an unnecessary service. But after 4 NYC summers the unit was basically a petri dish. Tech arrived on time, used professional extraction equipment, protected my floors without me even asking. The difference in air quality is not subtle. Already recommended to two neighbors.

Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about professional mini-split AC cleaning in New York City. Learn how our cleaning process helps remove dust buildup, odors, and contaminants from indoor units, improves airflow efficiency, and supports a cleaner indoor environment for apartments, homes, and commercial spaces across NYC.
It is generally recommended to clean it 1–2 times a year. If you have pets, allergy sufferers, or the unit runs frequently — more frequent cleaning is advised.
Cleaning of the front panel, filters, evaporator, blower wheel, louvers, drainage system, plus full disinfecting treatment.
No. Deep cleaning is performed in place using a protective wash bag and professional equipment. Removal is only necessary in cases of severe blockage or repair.
On average 40–90 minutes per indoor unit, depending on the level of contamination and accessibility.
Yes, access to the space is required, but you may stay in another room — the process is completely safe.
No. We use protective covers and drainage wash bags to prevent any splashes or mess.
Yes. Odors almost always occur due to a contaminated evaporator, fan blower, and the buildup of mold.
Yes. Airflow increases, heat exchange improves, and the system operates much more efficiently.
No. Cleaning and refrigerant refill are separate services. Refilling is only needed if there is a leak.
No, the technician will handle this before starting the service.
Filters — yes (ideally once a month if the unit runs frequently).
All other components (evaporator, blower wheel, drainage system) require professional equipment.
We use a steam cleaner, high-pressure washer, professional cleaning solutions, drainage system flush tools, and disinfecting agents.
Yes. We provide a warranty on the quality of the cleaning we perform. It’s important to understand that the cleaning process cannot damage your AC unit — on the contrary, it improves its performance, increases efficiency, and helps extend its lifespan.
We work carefully and use specialized equipment and protective materials, which ensures that the cleaning does not affect any electronic components of the system.
However, it’s important to clarify the following:
-
cleaning is not a repair service,
-
and it cannot cause failures of electrical or mechanical parts such as the compressor, control board, capacitors, sensors, etc.
Sometimes it may happen that a unit fails a day or two after cleaning, and it may seem connected. But this is simply a coincidence. Any device can fail at any time, especially if certain components were already worn out or nearing the end of their lifespan.
We guarantee:
-
that the cleaning is performed safely and correctly,
-
that your equipment remains in the same technical condition as before (only cleaner, safer, and more efficient),
-
and that we do not cause any harm to electrical components.
And of course, we are always ready to provide support and answer any questions you may have after the service.
